Developer Lucas Pope has announced he’s working on his next project; The return of the Obra Dinn. He has explained the new title through his Twitter account and on TIGSource’s Forum, he goes to say on his twitter:

The plot follows a insurance adjuster who has to find the captain’s logbook on the recently reappeared East India Company’s ship “Obra Dinn” after it was declared lost at sea, The ship drifted back into port with sail damage and no visible crew. Pope mentions he will be experimenting more with rendering and story and less with gameplay while also toying around with 1-bit graphics as he says in his TIGSource post:
“I’d like to capture the detailed black & white look of old Mac games in a realtime 1st person game.”
Pope who is best known for the award winning “Papers, Please” the game where you play as an immigration officer in the fictional country of Arstotzka. No release date or additional information has been confirmed yet.
